IPOANS is dedicated to representing the interests of Nova Scotia’s residential investment property owners and managers by devloping Advocacy, Education and Membership Services intiatives that provide members with tangible long-term benefits.
Established in 1978, IPOANS, Nova Scotia’s Positive Voice for Landlords, collaborates with industry stakeholders including all levels of government to ensure policy initiative outcomes result in a balanced and competitive marketplace.
For our contribution to the betterment of Nova Scotia’s apartment rental sector, the Canadian Federation of Apartment Association awarded IPOANS with their Association of the Year award.

Residential Property Management Course
Registration is open for NSCC curriculum designed Residential Property Management courses.
This course provides building maintenance technicians and related workers with awareness and skills in providing valuable and respectful service in the conduct of their work in general and preventative maintenance. The course focuses on taking responsibility and pride in the work to ensure quality and to maintain a strong reputation for the property owners. It provides various best practices and general principles that will present a professional image of the property owner’s organization while ensuring safe and comfortable living conditions for residents.
