Lease Addendum for Electronic Delivery of Documents

IPOANS received a number of calls concerning electronic delivery of documents.
To serve tenants electronically the following is required:
1. a tenant’s email address must be in inserted in a new lease at the time of signing, or
2. for existing tenants without an email address in their lease, a tenant and landlord must mutually agree and sign a lease addendum with one copy for the tenant and one for the landlord.  For Residential Tenancies’ Email Consent form click here.
